Tuna Salad With Hummus


for the hummus:

  • onion
  • carrot
  • garlic
  • olive oil
  • rock salt

for the salad:

  • 150g Alelma tuna of your choice
  • ½ tomato
  • ¼ cucumber
  • ¼ red onion
  • caper
  • olives
  • parsley

for the sauce:

  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon
  • freshly ground pepper



Clean wash the hummus and boil it in mineral water with the onion, carrot and garlic. Once mushy, add plenty of olive oil and rock salt to taste. We can mash the hummus using some kitchen implement.

Place 3 tablespoons of hummus in a plate and spread the tuna on top of the hummus. Spread the diced vegetables around the hummus and top with the olives and caper.

Mix the sauce ingredients in a blender and pour the mixture over the salad.
